ACCOUNTING CLIENTS

The following instructions will allow you to load Terminal Emulation Client software on your system in order to gain access to Safe Harbor's Servers and begin using our software.

WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL USERS:

  1. Call into Safe Harbor's office (740) 349-5812 x112 and we will give you your user name and password.
  2. Follow this link, enter your username, password and complete the next steps. ftp://safeharborwealth.com/tsclients/
  3. Right click on the the TSPrint file folder and choose "copy" and then open up your Explorer program and copy the folder onto your C: drive (local drive). With a broadband connection, the download will take less than one minute.
  4. Go to the TSPrint file folder on your local drive and double click the PrintR2DP_Client.exe file to install printer drivers.
  5. Go to your START button; choose Programs; choose Accessories; choose Communications; choose Remote Desktop Connection.
  6. At the prompt for computer, type: safeharborwealth.com
  7. Your desktop will now be replaced with our Server's desktop and you'll be asked for a user name and password. Passwords are case sensitive.
  8. Now that your connection is setup, you will be able to access your personal directories on our servers.
  9. VERY IMPORTANT!! When you are through using Terminal emulation and want to logoff, DO NOT simply close out the screen by clicking on the "x" box in the upper right hand corner of your screen. This will not close out your session; but only remove the screen from your computer. To close out your session, you need to go to the start button and choose the second from the bottom option "Log Off ". Once you have chosen to logoff, the screen will revert back to your original desktop.

NON XP PRO USERS (accessible for 90 days then you must upgrade to XP Pro):

  1. Call into Safe Harbor's office (740) 349-5812 x112 and we will give you your user name and password.

  5. Go to the TSPrint file folder on your local drive and double click the PrintR2DP_Client.exe file to install printer drivers.
  6. Go to the TSClient file folder on your local drive.
  7. Double click on the TSClient folder and you will see two subdirectories: Disk1 and Disk 2.
  8. Double click on Disk1 to open the folder and then click on "setup.exe" to start the installation. During the installation process when prompted, you should use the username Safe Harbor provides you as your user name and Safe Harbor as the organization.
  9. After the installation is complete, go to your Start button and choose programs. Choose "Terminal Services Client" and then choose "Client Connection Manager".
  10. To setup a new connection. On the menu bar, choose "File" and "New Connection"
  11. Follow your install wizard in setting up the new connection.
  12. The Connection name should be "Safe Harbor" (without the quotation marks)
  13. The Server Name or IP address will be "www.safeharborwealth.com" (without the quotation marks)
  14. Skip the next screen and make sure the box for "Logon automatically" is NOT checked.
  15. On the next screen, choose your preferences. we recommend 1024x768 or 800x600. We also recommend you check the box for "Full Screen".
  16. Skip the rest of the screens without checking any of the boxes.
  17. Now that your connection is setup, click on the connection and you will be able to access your personal directories on our servers.
  18. VERY IMPORTANT!! When you are through using Terminal emulation and want to logoff, DO NOT simply close out the screen by clicking on the "x" box in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
